The Chinese Chess Club was established in 2018, mainly serving Chinese chess enthusiasts in the college. It provides an internal and external communication platform for chess enthusiasts within the college and is also preparing to participate in the school's Ma John Cup Chinese Chess Tournament. Since 2018, the club has continuously won the championship of the Ma Cup Chinese Chess Group B on behalf of the college, and has always been a strong contender for the school championship. The weekly activities are held in the chess and card room on the second floor of the west stand on the east playground.
