The Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences currently has 13 student clubs, covering various fields such as men's basketball, women's basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, long-distance running, frisbee, baseball, badminton, tennis, chess and photography. These clubs not only greatly enrich the extracurricular life of the students in "Tea Garden", but also undertake the important functions of organizing various sports events within the college and providing photography support.
In line with Tsinghua University's sports spirit of "working healthily for the motherland for fifty years", the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences regards physical education as an important part of talent cultivation. The college has set up a special fund to support the club's construction. By hiring professional coaches for guidance and organizing regular training, it has significantly improved students' sports skills and photography proficiency, and also cultivated the good habit of lifelong sports. Among them, the annual brand event "Spring Harvest Cup" sports competition innovatively established a new platform for interaction and communication between alumni and current teachers and students. These measures not only create a strong sports culture atmosphere, but also provide diversified growth space for the all-round development of students.
