IIIS Volleyball Group
The volleyball club of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information was established in 2020 and now has nearly 30 members. The aim of the Volleyball Club of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information is to create a volleyball atmosphere where students and staff who love volleyball can exchange ideas and make progress together. Meanwhile, the club also provides a way for students who want to learn volleyball. No matter what your level is, as long as you like volleyball, you can get pleasure from the club activities and improve yourself. The club is responsible for forming the departmental volleyball team every year to participate in the Ma John Cup volleyball competition and has achieved good results. In the Ma John Cup Beach Volleyball Competition of the spring semester of 2021, the representative team of our department won the championship of the women's Group B. Students who love volleyball or want to try volleyball are welcome to sign up for the club.
Club activities
The activities of the Chayuan Volleyball Club mainly consist of two parts: regular matchmaking activities and pre-competition training for the volleyball Ma John Cup. The ball-playing activities are usually held during the non-exam weeks of the semester. The club provides equipment and venues. Club members can compete with each other and learn from each other here, and compete on the same stage with other departments. In addition to the ball-playing activities, the volleyball club is also responsible for the registration and training of the Ma John Cup hard volleyball competition and the beach volleyball competition of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information. Hard volleyball competitions are held in the autumn semester every year, while beach volleyball competitions are held in the spring semester. Before each competition starts, the club will organize systematic training and participate in the competition.
