The Centenary Ceremony of Tsinghua University took place at Great Hall of the People on the morning of April 24, 2011 with the presence of President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao, and other state and Communist Party leaders including Jia Qinglin, Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang. IIIS Dean Prof. Andrew Chi-Chih Yao, Deputy Dean Prof. Amy Yuexuan Wang and students also join the Ceremony.
